Full Time Position

Seeking candidate for full time position to conduct field compliance audits throughout the state of New Jersey. Security background or law enforcement experience is required. Must have excellent human relation skills, be able to conduct brief covert surveillances, be able to succinctly articulate customer security standards and practices to a diverse audience, and prepare meaningful written reports. Must have very dependable transportation for extensive road travel. Some evening and weekend duty will be required. Must have basic to intermediate computer experience. Spanish as second language helpful. POSITION SUMMARY:

The Duke Farms Foundation has an opening for one Safety & Security Officer position in Hillsborough, New Jersey. This position is responsible for providing a safe and secure environment, which includes patrolling campus style property by vehicle and on foot, responding to and reporting situations which may present a hazard, responding to medical emergencies, alarm activations, and other diverse calls for service, dispatching, assisting with answering the switchboard, and greeting and escorting Foundation guests.

Position requirements: High school diploma, a valid driver's license in good standing, and two years of experience in security or a related field is preferred. Clear verbal and written communications as well as strong customer service skills. Applicants must have the ability to make quick decision in high pressure situations and must be interested in helping promote DFF mission i.e. being a model of stewardship in the areas of horticulture, agriculture and ecology.

This position is for the 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. shift with rotating days off. Applicant needs to be flexible and open to occasional overtime shifts. The foundation offers competitive pay and excellent benefits.
